APTIS LISTENING TEST:
Entre todas las partes se escucharán 20 audios, repartidos en 17 preguntas en los que hay que comprender diferente tipo de información.
- Listening Part 1: Lexical recognition (13 Questions).
- Listening Part 2: Information matching (1 Question).
Hay que escuchar 4 monólogos de 4 personas distintas (Person A, B, C, D). Hay 6 opciones con ideas que hay que relacionar con cada persona (¡sobran 2!).
Ejemplo:
Four people are describing their plans for the future. Complete the sentences below.
Speaker A wants to … go to college
Speaker B wants to … work in a different country
Speaker C wants to … start a business
Speaker D wants to … have children

- Listening Part 3:Monologue Comprehension (1 Question)
Hay que escuchar un monólogo un poco más largo (alrededor de 2 minutos) para identificar la actitud del hablante, su opinión o intención. Hay que contestar 2 preguntas con 3 posibles respuestas cada una.
Ejemplo:
Listen to a city planner talk a press conference about a new transport plan and answer the questions below.
What is his opinion of the plan overall?
It is very similar to previous community projects in the same area.
It was prepared without proper consultation with the community.
It does not represent the opinions of the whole community.
What is his opinion of the role of the media?
He is critical of the media’s reporting of the plan.
He is surprised by the media’s interest in the plan.
He is confused by the media’s reaction to the plan.

Listening Part 4: Opinion Matching (2 Questions)
Escuchar una conversación más larga, alrededor de 2 minutos, entre dos personas, un hombre y una mujer. Al igual que en la tarea anterior hay que identificar la actitud de los dos hablante, la opinión o intención de cada uno de ellos.
Se proporcionan 4 ideas que hay que relacionar con los hablantes. Hay que elegir quién dijo cada una de ellas (Man/Woman) o también si fueron los 2 (Both).
Ejemplo:
Listen to two parents discussing the issue of children’s health. Read the statements below and decide who expresses which opinion, the man, the woman or both the man and the woman. You can listen the discussion twice.
- Parents should better manage their children’s health.
- Parents should support their child’s interest in sport.
- Quiet time can promote children’s concentration abilities.
- Excessive sleep can be bad for young people.
